As mentioned i am rather keen on attending shows to promote the hobby. When i go on my own in the West Country i exhibit as Uplyme Model Dockyard my local identity. Often i will attend shows as part of a group. We have been attending shows together for over 15 years. The group consists of myself, Matt Beck of Becksmodelmarine, Richard Stringer, Dee Reynolds and Kevin Tinklin. Between us we have a lot of models of various types. We are the original founder members of the kent model boat display team.
